Creating an effective application by using multimedia and the Internet

It is apparent that the development of modern advanced computer technologies combining computation and communication will provide new exciting environments for many fields. We are concerned with using multimedia and the Internet to create new applications. At first, we view multimedia technologies as an effective way of visualizing abstract concepts that are generally hard to grasp. In addition, we observe Internet technologies as a powerful delivery method for information and knowledge. We choose the field of education as a test field to show our research results because the education field has immense potential for improvement through the use of computer technologies. As part of our research, we create several different educational modules, which are embedded in the World Wide Web. The topics for these modules cover many different subjects from mathematics to computer science
