Abstract
In pattern recognition systems the lighting method is critical to determine the success or failure of an algorithm. The goal of this work is to design a lighting workbench able to control the color and luminous flux allowing the vision systems programmers to verify the robustness of their algorithms. This paper describes the methodology to control an RGB chip to determine luminous flux and color of the whole lamp. An experimental prototype has been built and tested.
