Abstract :
Due to the proliferation in the number of vehicles on the road, traffic control system is one of the major problems in the current world. This paper aims to improve multilevel parking facilities by the introduction of a new smart parking system. The new circular underground basement of the parking system reduces the space and the simple rack pinion mechanism used to lift the vehicle reduces the cost. A prototype of the parking assistance system based on the proposed architecture is also constructed to understand the proposed design clearly. The proposed design is also simulated and analyzed using commercially available software AUTODESK INVENTOR and COMSOL. Finally an image processing facility is also introduced to monitor and identify the vehicles.
