Investigation of the communication between different countries using avatar language

We propose a new conception of avatar language and investigate an intelligent communication system between different countries using avatar language. We also develop a method of animating the avatar language gestures on a computer screen using parameterization, and a system capable of translating between Japanese and Korean avatar languages. Experimental results have shown the systems to be effective, and it is our hope the systems developed can be applied to the animation and translation of avatar languages used in other countries
