Abstract
This research paper reports a novel non-invasive electrochemical technique that is used to elucidate the function of the pancreas. The pathology of the pancreas is not easy to elucidate due to its anatomical location. Various invasive tests are done such as Endoscopic Ultrasound and Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to determine its function but they have side effect and are not liked by certain category of patients. This research emphasized a novel non-invasive chronic pancreatic computerized reverse phased high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) test developed using Electrochemical detection system that is distinctive and thought to have wider applications. This research paper describes in details the electrochemical detection protocol and reports the optimum conditions as well as the advantage and disadvantages of the technique.
