Abstract :
Taking the math major students as the subjects, this paper discussed the causal attribution characteristics of success or failure in social intercourse, their expectation changing and emotional reaction. The paper found that: (1) the intercourse results are varied among the students which they attribute to different casual cognitions, no significant differences in grades or genders, but significant in success or failure; (2) no significant differences in expectation, and students all willing to put great efforts to get a better result; (3) they feel excited and happy after success, while feel frustrated and inferior even display stronger emotional reactions after failure.
