Abstract :
The present paper focuses by means of an experimental study, on the effect of a bearing fault on the stator current signatures in induction motors. Besides the well known diagnosis signatures in the literature, new ones are investigated. These new signatures show that one can predict in a more significant way the bearing failures, even in the presence of rotor dissymmetry such as broken bar defect.
