Abstract
Generally, the siren of an ambulance is used to let other drivers know that the ambulance is approaching. Although the siren system is effective to alert drivers and pedestrians, the sound of a siren is noisy in the cabin of the ambulance. An active noise control (ANC) system for controlling the sound of a siren using a headset is proposed. The proposed ANC system selectively controls only the sound of the siren, and other sounds such as speech is not affected at all. The attenuation level achieved by the proposed ANC system is more than 20 dB
