Abstract
Old urban redevelopment project management, compared with traditional project management, features multi- objectives, multi-feedback loops and complex nonlinear. In this paper, system dynamics approach is introduced into the project management in old urban redevelopment, and the characteristics of system dynamics in old urban redevelopment management are discussed and highlighted by studying on the interactions and responses among the three subsystems through feedback analyzing of the systemic behaviors. Systemic controlling and system dynamics modeling are described to demonstrate the project dynamics. Using a case study by computer simulation, effective countermeasures of systemic controlling are represented in old urban redevelopment project management on the whole.
