Abstract :
With the tide of learning Chinese coming, we developed a Chinese-learning quiz game based on Java2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), which is named for "root of Chinese characters" Chinese-learning game (RCCCLG). Using the B/S model, this game system combined the J2EE architecture with the Struts, the Spring and the Hibernate frameworks, and realized the model-view-controller (MVC) pattern which separated the page logic, business logic and data logic one another. Therefore a loosely coupled structure is achieved, enhancing the versatility, the maintainability, the extendibility of the system. Besides, the system can bring Chinese learners a great interest, make learning merge with entertainment, improve the learning efficiency and thus greatly reduce the difficulty of learning Chinese, especially for non-native speakers.
