Abstract
Positioning, as one of the prime components of Con text, has been a driving factor in the development of pervasive computing applications throughout the past two decades. Based on the Redundant Positioning architecture introduced previously, this paper discusses the issues of managing positioning and context data between applications and across different administra tive domains, with a focus on implementing security and privacy concepts, for autonomic devices and com munications.
