  • Abstract
    The statistics of a Boltzmann machine can be approximated using the TAP equations of Thouless, Andersson and Palmer (1977) combined with linear response theory. We discuss the validity of the TAP equations, in particular for finite size networks. We present an algorithm that determines if a particular solution of the TAP equations is valid
