Abstract :
This paper introduces the development status of reliability optimization design of mechanical products, as well as the advantages of the application of reliability optimization design method. It puts forward the problem of reliability optimization design of mechanical products and solved the problems. The XG45-9/540 electric locomotive axle reducer is studied as an example for reliability optimization design. We show that the design of mechanical products by reliability optimization design is superior to traditional design.
