Abstract :
Accessibility is taken for the comprehensive and effective method for traffic network evaluation, and gradually is used in diversified domain, such as urban planning, traffic planning, spatial structure and regional economy development. GIS as a kind of new technology, it provides a more simple, accurate and effective tool for the computing of accessibility. Usually, the study of accessibility only considered the Objective Time, distance measurer or the simple transportation expenses, but neglected the difference of time value of various trip modes. This paper has introduced the concept of time value, provided a kind of general method that using GIS in the accessibility evaluation of urban spatial accessibility, and shown result in the GIS platform.
