Abstract
This work presents a methodology for optimum voltage compensation system design guided toward the implementation of a voltage regulation system (VRS) through the SVS technology applied at industrial level. The VRS it is constituted by the SVS: controller, capacitive and inductive units, and a series decouple reactance. The objective consists on determining the optimal sizing of the elements of the VRS in order to maximize the industry savings considering the cost of the VRS and the monetary losses for the lack of compensation
