Abstract :
The Internet of Things (IOT) is the new network of integration of radio frequency identification (RFID) with the Internet, and it has the similar requirement of the resource addressing as the Internet. The properties of the IOT make the differences between the resource addressing in the IOT (RA-IOT) and that in the Internet. There are some peculiar problems of the RA-IOT, such as the conflict of there source addressing caused by multiple product code standards (PCSs). So the IOT makes some new challenges to the existing technology of the resource addressing in the Internet, which can not totally meets the requirements of the IOT. The relevant researches related to the IOT are still in their infancy, and most of them just use the Internetpsilas existing technology, so they cannot resolve the addressing conflict of different PCSs. By analyzing the properties of the RA-IOT, this paper proposes the general layered model of the RA-IOT by extending the layered iteration model in the Internet. Based on the model, this paper puts forward the universal resource addressing system which can support any PCS. By the test of the system, the validity and feasibility of the model and the system can be verified.
