Abstract :
The emergency response plan to fire disaster can make people save their lives. The occurrence and spread of the fire is a complicated and stochastic process. The paper introduce a fire simulation model based on the particle system and discussed the rule of occurrence and spread in the fire hazard. In order to monitor the spread of the fire, a JAVA Applet is developed to show the fire data by External Authoring Interface. The related emergency response plan virtual reality system is developed by VRML. This model is adopted by the firefighting virtual reality system that used to help people find out the rule of the fire and defend the fire hazard.
