Abstract
Nonlinear loads and their resultant harmonics form an increasing segment of the electric power load base. Nevertheless, there is not a universally recognized definition of reactive power when we are working under nonsinusoidal conditions. Subsequently, there is not a unified way to measure reactive power and energy. Several methods has been proposed. In general, a 90 degrees voltage shift is developed by all of them. In this paper, we propose a new electronic shifter based on stochastic signal processing
