Abstract :
The authors describe the steady-state analysis of DC-to-DC resonant converters in the time domain as well as in the frequency domain. Closed-form expressions are derived in the time domain using a general method of determining the steady-state response of a linear time-invariant system with a periodic input. A comparative study is performed of the results obtained by the frequency domain and time domain methods to describe the operation of a DC-to-DC resonant converter. The analytical results obtained by this method are quite close to those from computer simulations
