Abstract :
Circuit breakers based upon a vacuum bottle technology are nowadays located on the roof of modern locomotives. This work deals with the achievement of an electrical circuit equivalent to this circuit breaker. This circuit is taking into account different parasitic elements such as capacitors, inductances and resistors. The circuit which is able to reproduce the circuit breaker electrical behaviour is included in a 3-D numerical electromagnetic code in which it stands for the disturbing source
