An Analysis on the Outsourcing Network Evolution Pathway: in the Perspective of Social Network

The evolution of outsourcing network is realized through the co-act by enterprise´s social capital and structural hole. The role of enterprise´s social capital is passing through by using the trust as a medium. While the role of structural hole lies in its positional advantage, including: information advantage and control advantage. Implementing with social network theory, the paper analyses the outsourcing network´s characteristics and working mechanism from the viewpoint of enterprise´s social capital and structural hole, and finally examine this mechanism with case studies of Toyota.
