Abstract :
The dielectric properties of several high dielectric-based ceramics (BaTiO3) were measured at different temperatures and frequencies. The preternary compound ceramics, (1-y-x)BaTiO3-ySrTiO3-xMgTiO3, were fabricated as ceramic capacitors by using the mixed oxide method. As the results of the electrical measurement of the specimens, the temperature coefficients of the capacitance were decreased and the curie temperature (Tc) were shifted downward in accordance with the increase of SrTiO3 and MgTiO3. BSM was found to act on this system as a depressor and a shifter at the same time. The dielectric constants were decreased as the frequency was in creased below 10 MHz. Under same conditions, especially in the case of BSM-11 which were sintered at 1,250°C for two hours, the dielectric properties were suitable for capacitor
