Abstract
The application of virtual maintenance technology can find the problems in products maintainability design as early as possible, assuring the qualities and reducing the life-cycle cost. So it is very important for the design of complicated equipments such as aircraft. Aimed at the requests of aircraft maintainability design, this paper compared two kinds of virtual maintenance modes, non-immersive virtual maintenance and immersive virtual maintenance. Then a virtual maintenance scheme is presented, including information models, simulation process and suitable methods for maintainability analysis, verification and evaluation. On the base of DELMIA and virtual maintenance environment integrated with CAD, a comprehensive application of both kinds of virtual maintenance modes is realized, covering the shortages in each single method and improving the efficiency of virtual maintenance.
