Abstract :
Recently, service oriented architecture (SOA) has become a trend of implementing software systems including grids. SOA provides more flexibility for grid users at the service level. In this paper, a scalable service-oriented grid computing architecture utilizing Web-service technology is presented. With the service discovery scheme and resource assignment strategy proposed, the whole architecture can manage the service provider dynamically. Fault tolerant computing scheme is also introduced. The performance of the algorithm proposed is evaluated by experiments. Numerical results show that our work provide great efficiency and flexibility for the intensive applications in grid computing or utility computing.
