Abstract
In this paper, authors propose a simplified small-signal modeling method for the Dual Active Half Bridge (DAHB) converter is proposed in this paper. The DAHB converter is a good candidate for bi-directional, high step ratio applications and is widely used in various situations. Authors proposed an averaged-switch based small signal analysis, which can significantly reduce the model complexity and computational cost. A mathematical framework for the proposed method is also given. Authors characterized the performance of the proposed method in terms of the experimental measurements, numerical simulations and analytical solutions.
