Abstract :
According to system engineering modeling idea, the framework of modeling and simulation for combat unit materiel support system (CUMSS), which was performing mission, was presented. This paper describe the process of materiel support, analyze its performance index, reengineer the process and optimize the resources. A conceptual model oriented mission was developed based on the comprehensive analysis of maintenance process and resource utilization process. A federation framework was constructed for combat unit materiel support and a federation object model was designed for CUMSS. Taking a mission for example, by using simulation method, the federations for the discrete event, the continual event and the decision-making were developed. Finally, a combat unit materiel support simulation system oriented mission was developed.
