Abstract
A fast calculating method of PID controllers stability region shows that for a fixed value of the proportional term(kp) the stabilizing PID controllers form a finite set of disjoint polyhedral sets in the parameter space. A complete characterization and a receivable method of stabilizing regions are proposed. It is possible to bound the stabilizing values of kp. This way provides fast and easy calculation of the stabilizing PID compensators for a given system.
