On the Curriculum Arrangement & Teaching Procedures in Management Information System

In designing professional curriculum of information management and information system, key universities and institutions both at home and abroad take the management information system (MIS) as an important specialized course. This paper will make researches on the curriculum arrangement in MIS based on static & dynamic training mode. This curriculum arrangement centers on the principles of information management, takes computer science and remote telecommunication technology as due instruments and tools in management of information system of the course, and considers knowledge of management science and economics as thinking and methods in designing information management system of the course, the three of which should complement each other. The main characteristics of it are: (1) strengthening quality-oriented education, (2)optimizing knowledge structure, (3) reinforcing capability training, and (4)exchanging information of pioneering subjects, so that the students can acquire relatively systematic knowledge and enjoy overall training, and the graduates´ adaptabilities are built up with their potential greatly promoted. This paper also puts forward countermeasures for promoting teaching effects.
