Strategic Plan for the Control and Reduction of Non-Technical Losses applied in C.A. Energia Eléctrica de Valencia

As an answer to the increase of non-technical losses in the year 2004, C.A. Electricidad de Valencia (Eleval) redefined its strategies of control and reduction of the NTL, developing a work model that generated a strategic plan which led to the design of follow-up actions and their preventive control; study, restructuring, and adaptation of work processes related; elaboration of a communicational and communitarian plan, and the development of detection and control tools, among these the totalizing meters. The model presented here describes each of the steps developed and the results obtained, which have reached the goals planned
