Abstract :
In large, KNX automated buildings there are unavoidable to measure environmental factors, such as outside temperature, inside temperatures, set point temperatures, Lux levels, human behaviors (e.g. pressing a button, open the door/window, enter/leave building areas etc.). This paper shows various methods of data collecting from a KNX network into databases. KNX manufacturers provide different solutions of catch measured values, record them and save them in databases. After the database is created, the popular technique - data mining can use to get unknown information from the database, from the measured values.
