Abstract :
In this paper a new image modeling is proposed. We propose the usage of the exponential (EXP) model as an alternative for the existing AR models which have stability problem. Since the EXP model is always stable, the obtained model can always be utilized to synthesize the original image. Since the EXP systems have an infinite impulse response, it is suitable to model images which contain not only poles, but also images with poles and zeroes. Therefore, it is expected that the EXP system is more suitable to model more variations of images than that of AR system. The simulation results show the the power gain (PG) of proposed EXP and the conventional AR model are comparable
