Abstract :
MORS has developed in 1997, for the French Navy a new time and frequency equipment that provides precise time and precise frequency signals in a harsh environment. The primary reference clock, named RFH 100, was introduced in WARSAW during the EFTF 98 composed of a primary reference clock and a secondary clock. The design was based on the use of highly modular boards and subsystems specially developed : ruggedized cesium beam frequency standards modules; time and frequency generation boards; time and frequency distribution boards; time monitoring and correcting boards. As an extension of the primary reference clock, MORS developed in 1998 an extension clock for dedicated application used in the French Navy, generating its own time scale, independently of the primary reference clock´s time scale
