Abstract
Dynamic optimal setting for the set points of a kind of process is studied in this paper. This kind of process is non-linear system on the whole and it is hard to control the final product quality directly. First, characteristic of the entire process is studied and a revised Wiener model is used to describe the model of process. Step response model is used to describe the linear dynamic part and the concept of ideal work mode is introduced to describe the nonlinear static part. Adaptive controller for the set points is design based on the predictive control theory. The problem is changed into linear model predictive control by identifying and solving the nonlinear relationship. Finally, some simulation results are given.
