Abstract
The performance of the frequency stability and the phase noise was described when the reference frequency signal is distributed through the optical passive double star network for a CDMA microcellular system. We calculate and measure the short-term frequency stability and phase noise. In our experiments, the frequency of the RF CDMA signal centered at 892.14 MHz was maintained within ±5×10-8 stability. Up to 24 CDMA carriers and a control signal were transmitted with the reference signal without violation of IS-97 standards
