Abstract :
At the former stage of e-government construction, new technology matched the old administrative value system. Instrumental rationality is still the exclusive governance ideology mode, largely discounting the revolutionary character of the e-government. Post-modernism with the character of anti-instrumentalism and anti-centralism advocate subverting exclusive instrumental rationality and reinstating diverse value rationalities. It has brought a strong impact on traditional philosophical ideas, opening a skylight for us to re-think the value rationality of the e-government. This article is present a new trend to reflect the influence of the wisdom arising from post-modernism, adopts the value-pursuit and pluralism in post-modernity linguistic context, and constructs a hierarchical model of value rationality to promote the harmonious development of e-government
