Abstract
Many US educational institutions at the forefront of using technology have already started offering Web-based courses, syllabi, course project assignments, quizzes, midterms, final exams and other academic information. In 1997-1998 academic year, there have been more than 100 online degree programs with more than 3880 online courses at the US higher education institutions. However, the potential of the WWW as an instructional medium and tool has not been realized to-date at the OMI College of Applied Science (OCAS), University of Cincinnati (UC). This paper summarizes "The Online OMI College of Applied Science" related activities at OCAS, UC in 1998-1999.
