Abstract :
New with MATLAB 5 is the graphical user interface development environment, or GUIDE. This tool enables the engineering educator to produce pedagogical software which combines the computing and graphics capability of MATLAB with convenient GUIs. A brief overview of handle graphics is provided, followed by the introduction of GUIDE. GUIDE is used alone to produce an elementary example, and is used in combination with other files in order to produce a more interesting example.
