Abstract :
Electronic service plays a more and more significant role in today´s business. With e-business emerging as a key enabler to drive supply chains, the focus of supply chain management has been shifted from production efficiency to customer-driven and partnership synchronization approaches. Nowadays, it is popular to focus on the so called ldquocore competition abilityrdquo and most of the non-core business is outsourced. But actually, supply chain integration is more efficient than the operation of single enterprise. In this paper, we analysis the value source of electronic supply chain and study a typical supply chain consists of the material supplier, the manufacturer, the distributor, and the retailer. After that, three classes of optimization patterns are developed based on value analysis, including SM pattern, MD pattern and SMD pattern. We define these three patterns and analysis their characteristic and advantages, and basing on above study, the application of these patterns are proposed.
