Abstract :
Due to the random nested features of LFB (logical functional block) resources, the system performance may be seriously affected when the resources nested deeply. In order to satisfy the requirement of improving ForCES (forwarding and control element separation) router performances, we present an extensible and programmable model of LFB resources management. Firstly, we analyze the key technologies, including the resources storage designing and addressing with tree structure named LFB resources tree. Secondly, two methods with different algorithm are used for keyword search in our model to meet the FE (forwarding element) model requirement. Finally, experiment results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the LFB resource management model in our ForCES router.
