Abstract :
Results are presented concerning the pathological effects of both magnetostatic and time-varying magnetic fields as well as other electromagnetic (EM) waves on heme respiratory ability and photocarcinogenesis. Both effects and mechanisms are briefly presented. These include induced oxidation potentials due to magnetostatic fields and the effects of photons from EM fields. It is shown that being exposed to magnetostatic fields of between 40 kG and 161 kG for long periods of time could be harmful.<>
