  • Abstract
    The paper presented is dedicated to developing a simulation model of a system for measuring the attack angle of railway wheelsets at a running in curves. The aim is to define the possibility to develop an electronic system for determining the attack angle has been created with reading the possible replacements within the system body - bogie base - car axles - track including the horizontal straight body-base formations. The dependencies obtained are convenient for experimental determining the attack angle under real operational conditions. The simulation model developed makes possible to determine the main parameters of the system with the particular requirements to it given and on this base to design the system. The models as well as good technical possibilities of its implementation have shown that the principle assumed is appropriate for angle of attack recorded in studies conducted in operational conditions of passenger wagons with bogies type T65, YT72 and T73AD.
