Abstract :
A predictive control model of network control system (NCS) is presented to overcome the adverse influences of stochastic time delay, which could improve the performance through model matching and multi-step predictive output compensation. The delay between the controller and the actuator could be estimated by detecting the delay between the sensor and the controller, and the method of data processing in sensor and actuator is also presented, therefore a predictive control model similar to the actual network is set up. The transmission lag of manipulated variable could be compensated through the method of multi-step predictive output. Finally, a simulation illustration is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in an NCS with stochastic time delay.
