Abstract
In the paper, we present the system framework of the welcoming robot that used in the campus classroom building, including overall performance, mechanical design, control system components, software architecture and implementation plan, prototype test results. Its application on campus is conducive to teaching and practice in schools, and it services for students and visiting guests. Experimental results show that the stability and reliability of the actual robot system, and the autonomy movement and obstacle avoidance achieved in the campus corridor environment.
