Abstract :
Growth of a number of different electrical equipment on board of autonomous objects requires the creation of new high reliability power supply systems operating even in an emergency case. This paper presents a new version of implementation of the uninterruptible power system (UPS) based on parallel operation of AC/DC and DC/DC converters. Such structure allows to supply the system from two independent power sources (source of alternating current 400Hz, 115V and source of direct current 27 V). Therefore, the system can operate even in case of loss of one of the sources. UPS operates simultaneously from both onboard power sources in normal mode and distributes the load power equally between them.
