Abstract
Power control technology is necessary in Visible Light Communication (VLC) systems because of the multipath distortion and shadowing. When a power control algorithm is applied to the system, feedback error is inevitable. In this paper, we analyze the closed-loop power control algorithm and the influence of the power control error (PCE) in VLC systems. To analyze the effect of the PCE in VLC systems, the proposed system is studied with different modulation schemes and coding rates in terms of BER.
