  • Abstract
This paper discusses the feasibility of measuring the energy usage of an entire household from a single point of measurement. While many studies have been performed and techniques already exist that achieve this, most solutions have difficulty in differentiating between multiple, similar, and small loads. This paper discusses the use of harmonic signatures to better differentiate between individual loads in extension to existing techniques.
