Abstract :
Experimental PMD mitigation at 40Gbit/s by distributed fast polarization scrambling was successfully demonstrated with 40Gbit/s standard and enhanced FECs. 5 scramblers enabled a mean DGD tolerance between 9 to 11.7ps.
