Abstract :
This paper presents a model for the optimal operation of a community-based microgrid. The model introduces microgrid controller and consumer parameters and considers prevailing restrictions for the optimal operation of a microgrid. Mixed-integer programming (MIP) is used to formulate the microgrid problem. Test results show the effectiveness of the proposed model for the microgrid operation.
