            Abstract : 
Clock extraction from 10-Gb/s NRZ-DPSK signal using a cascaded long-period fiber grating is experimentally demonstrated. The resultant clock has low timing jitter of <;1 ps. The method is easily applicable up to 640-Gb/s.
