  • Abstract
    The paper presents a novel hybrid switched/PWM-modulated power filter and capacitor compensator (HPFCC) scheme for compensating large motorized loads and AC arc type load inrush currents. The novel scheme utilizes a tri-loop dynamic stabilization controller to ensure a combined voltage stabilization, inrush-current limitation as well as harmonic reduction and power quality enhancement.
